HI there!
I love animals! Unfortuantely I do not currently have any of my own, so would love to spend time with yours. I really miss having a pet. I grew up in rural Central Hawkes Bay and I am experienced with farm animals and domestic cats and dogs.
I was a house sitter/dog/cat sitter in 2023 for 4 different families. I thouroughly enjoyed and formed great relationships with the pet owners and the pets. I still miss some of those animals that I used to dog/cat sit for. The photos in my profile are of dogs that I have pet sit for in Napier and also of a very much loved previous family dog - Cruza.
I am a primary school teacher so I have plenty of time during the school holidays and in the weekend to care for your pet. I am available in term time too but would need to fit the dog walking around my work hours. Often during the week, I can leave work at a reasonable time to go dog walking or call in for house visits.
I really enjoy walking dogs and find that it's a great motivation to get out and about. I really enjoy taking dogs to off lead spots in Napier such as the beach, Park Island and Ahuriri and also really enjoy walking on lead in town and down Marine Parade.
Your pets can be fully entrusted with me and I would love them like my own.

Simmone looked after our two dogs over a weekend. Indie is a nervous dog but Simmone soon won her over after arriving. Simmone walked the dogs each day - both on and off the lead as requested. Simmone brought all the things she needed with her and left the house very tidy. Excellent communication and a couple of visits prior to us going away (we had booked very much in advance) was reassuring. Thank you Simmone, we felt very comfortable leaving our dogs in your care!
Simmone took excellent care of our fur babies. We will definitely book with her again.
