Hello! I am 25 years old and recently arrived from the States on a Working Holiday Visa. I am looking for fun, casual work while I make Dunedin home base. What better than pet sitting and walking!

I'm an animal lover through and through, having been around dogs, cats, bunnies, horses, sheep, moose, and more! I grew up with large dogs in my home and they became some of my favorite animals. Although I'm a little bias to those larger (and maybe chunkier) in size, I do love all breeds endlessly. As I got older, I started to pet sit or walk for friends and family occasionally and have loved it. It's fun to experience new places and surroundings with a pet by your side to break the ice or sniff out the good times. I treat others pets as I would my own as I know how tough it can be to leave them in someone else's hands. I'm very active and love a good beach walk or a tramp along the local trails, so your pets are sure to have a good time outside with me. Also open to house sitting and pet sitting if need be as I have done this a handful of times back in the states as well. A little statement about each service I can provide goes as follows:

Pet walk: I can be available anywhere up to 1.5 hours or less, depending on what your pet needs. This could be a stroll along the sidewalks, up and down a sandy beach or a trek on a local trail. I can accommodate to what your pet is most use to so the care you usually provide for them is one and the same.

House visit: I am more than happy to drop in once or twice a day to your home to just cuddle up with your pet and give them some much needed attention, or let them out to do their business. I also don't mind helping with other quick things like bringing in the mail or bin, and watering some plants (I had about 35 of my own happy and healthy plants before moving from the States). I'm happy to work with you and talk about exactly what you're looking for before my first visit.

House sitting: Although I would love to watch your furry friends in my home, my current flat does not allow for it. However, I am more than happy to stay with your pets where they are most comfortable, and care for your home while you're away as well. Just like the house visit, we can discuss exactly what you're looking for in advance and make sure the plan works for both of us well before your journey out of town!
