About Milly
I am a 36 year old Australian living in Wellington with a full time office job in IT. I love pets and originally got on this site hoping to pick up some dog walking, but I have also thoroughly enjoyed doing home visit pet care for cats and rabbits.
I own two cats of my own (Val and Dave) who have come with me from Australia. As a kid/teenager my family had a series of large dogs (including a rotweiler then a ridgeback) which i loved walking/running.
Please note I now have a toddler and a newborn so will be a bit more limited in terms of timing and location of jobs I can accept as I will need to coordinate with my partner (who works shifts) to cover child care. I can be more flexible for anything in wilton and wadestown or if your pets won't mind if I bring my baby along for the walk/visit (although I will always first assume you and your pets won't want that). Please enquire and I will get back to you promptly.
Suburbs:
I live in Wilton and am usually happy to go to Wilton, Wadestown, Thorndon, Northland, Ngaio, Crofton Downs, Aro Valley, Mount Cook, Karori and Khandallah. Will also consider going to other surrounding suburbs on a case by case basis (e.g. Te Aro, city centre, Newtown, Hataitai, Kilbirnie, Roseneath, Oriental, Berhampore, Island Bay, Boradmedows, Johnsonville) but will depend slightly on timing and busyness - please enquire.
Dog walking:
I love walking around the reserves and have noticed that there are some great looking dog parks around too. I enjoy walking and running (happy to do whichever your dog prefers), I would just love to have some dogs to enjoy the walks/runs with me! I love dogs of all shapes and sizes but have a particular soft spot for big dogs, and am comfortable handling large, strong dogs. While I am on mat leave with baby #2 i am able to do weekday daytime walks if you and your dog are happy for me to have by baby along too in his carrier. I usually aim for approx 1hr/4-5km walks but can do shorter or more dog park centric walks if you prefer. Availability for kid free walks and runs will likely be a bit limited until 2027.

I can feed, water, pat and play with cats, rabbits, dogs, geckos and pets of all shapes and sizes. I am happy to spend 20minutes giving your pets the attention they need each visit. Please let me know of preferred timing for visits (and how flexible you are) and I will let you know if I can accommodate that (will also depend a little on whether you are happy for me to bring the baby or not).
