I have always loved animals and had a special connection to them - ever since I was a kid people have called me an animal whisperer because of the way animals seem to naturally be drawn to me and trust me. 

I have a particular soft spot for pets who are nervous around strangers and enjoy taking the time and effort to gain their trust.

As a cat mum myself, I know the anxiety of leaving your pets alone or in someone else's care. I have joined Pawshake to help other pet parents find someone loving and reliable to care for their pets. My goal is to be the kind of sitter I would be comfortable leaving my own pets with.

I have completed a pet first aid course with Pet First Aid & Training NZ so you can trust that your animal is in good hands if they were to get sick or injured while in my care. I also have my own car so can transport them to a vet if needed.

I have experience administering medication orally and my own cat is asthmatic so I am very confident in the use of inhalers for pets.

I have experience caring for a range of animals including large dogs (including greyhounds), small dogs, cats, reptiles, rabbits, birds, fish and mice.

Services I offer:

Home visits: Depending on your pets needs I can change food/water, administer medication, clear the litterbox, play with them, let them explore your yard, have a cuddle, brush them etc.

I genuinely care about your pet feeling loved and cared for while you're away, so will do whatever is needed to keep them happy.

I can also clear the mailbox and open and close curtains to make it appear someone is home while you are away.

Your fur baby will be in great hands with me. I can't wait you meet you and your pet!
