Hi! I'm Emily

I’ve always had a passion for animals — I grew up surrounded by them and in a family dedicated to animal welfare and care. I love being outdoors, whether it’s exploring the beach, wandering through the forest, or soaking up the sun — so what better way to combine my love for animals and the outdoors than by walking your beloved pets!

I currently am best suited to my services from Monday to Saturday anytime after 1pm - as I work as a veterinary nurse any other time.

I have experience with both cats and dogs (and the occasional small creature!). I’ve been walking dogs for about four months, regularly helping friends and family with their furry companions.

With training in animal behaviour, I can assist with basic behavioural training, administer medications, and perform nail trims when needed.

Qualifications:

• New Zealand Certificate in Animal Management (Companion Animal Strand) – Level 5, 2023
• New Zealand Diploma in Veterinary Nursing – Level 6, 2024
• 9 months as a Cattery Assistant (solo role)
• Currently working full-time as a Veterinary Nurse

Services:

🐾 Home Visits – I’ll visit your home for 30 minutes to spend quality time with your pets, play, provide care, and handle any extras you need.

🐾 Dog Walking – Walks around your neighbourhood for 30 minutes to 1 hour, tailored to your dog’s ability and your preferences.
