Currently offering dog walking and house visits, looking for house sitting for early next year :)

I have a dog myself back in the UK (a bossy beagle) so am used to walking dogs, but can provide references if needed with being new to the app. I work from home so can be flexible to your schedule.

House sitting:

Myself and my partner Rachel are both from Newcastle, in the North East of England. We came to NZ in 2023 on a 1 year working holiday visa and haven't summoned the courage to leave yet!! New Zealand and its beauty, the kind people, and laid back lifestyle really captured our hearts. We are 25 & 26. Rachel works in hospitality and I work in an office. We have suddenly realised we only have until April 2026, when our visa finally expires, to see as much of the country as we can!

We're looking to do some house sitting and are happy to work our plans around this, anytime from February - April 2026. we won't be working during this time, so will be home every day, and have plenty of time for walking duties, play time etc. We will ensure your house is looked after, safe, and tidying kept on top of. Also happy to water plants, bring in post, and do general upkeep.

Having been animal lovers our whole lives, we both have experience pet sitting cats, dogs, chickens, and even a spanish horse one time!

We have house sitting experience, ranging from colleagues, to friends of friends, to strangers looking for help on facebook. I can provide recent references for dog and cat sitting, including from a month ago when I looked after a labradoodle called Archie, living in his (and his human's) home, walking him daily, feeding, cleaning up after him, and most importantly giving him lots of cuddles.

I can also provide references for cat sitting - I recently stayed at a lady's house who was reaching out for help on facebook after her usual cat sitter could not stay. I stayed for 3 nights looking after 2 cats, and maintaining the house.

We are very respectful, clean, and considerate of the fact that people are letting us into their home, and will always respect the space and animals we’ve been trusted with. We will always follow instructions we have been given, are very communicative, we can keep you updated on what is going on with pictures and video calls if needed!
