I worked my way through college at vet clinics in California, including emergency clinics. Since then I've been pet sitting for dogs and cats with medications or special needs, and fostering for a few puppies. I moved to Wellington this year to be with family -- check out Rover for reviews and testimonials of my work in the States, or reach out for direct references.
Currently offering in-house pet-sits ranging from a weekend to multiple months (in-home care only, as my house has a reactive dog we are working on training) as well as walks and drop-ins for a few select clients near Wellington CBD. I'm great at administering meds and can adjust my flexible schedule to meet your pets needs, morning day or night, and I'm happy to take care of any plants or other household tasks for longer sits. For drop-in visits, my pricing reflects a 1-hour visit, with focused attention (walks are for one client only, no pack walks with other dogs) but I'm happy to chat about longer or shorter options.
I work part time and remotely, so there's plenty of time for me to hang out with your pet. I'm happy to follow any procedures you have set up in terms of meal times, number and timing of walks, play sessions, medications, house security -- my only preference is to avoid off-leash walks, but we can absolutely go for long on-leash hikes, or play for ages in your backyard, whatever they need.
