Hi there, my name is Brooke and I have been on pawshake for a couple of years now and absolutely love it! I have recently moved back home with my parents in Island Bay so dog sitting is now done by all of us again!

Experience:

I have a diploma in Veterinary Nursing so I have studied how to handle pets, administer medication, pet behaviour and basic first aid. While I was getting my diploma I worked at the Pet Center where my job was the animal carer. This job involved myself looking after and cleaning the animals and their pens. I have also worked as a dog walker / assistant dog trainer. For the last three years I have been working as a dog groomer dealing with dogs of all sizes, ages and temperaments.

Both of my parents grew up with a wide range of animals and are very comfortable in dealing with dogs.

SERVICES + PRICING:

DOG WALKING (walks are with myself)

due to currently working full time dog walking can be anytime between 3-6pm mon-fri and anytime in the weekends just flick me a message.

dog walking includes:

pick up / drop off

45min walk

$30 for 45mins walk + pickup/drop off

HOUSE STAYS (house stays are with my parents and I)

*minimum of two nights*

My parents live in Island Bay which has a fully fenced off backyard with grass and concrete. 

animals have to be vaccinated as I do have 2 dogs at home. House stays can be any animal as I have a spare room they can stay in. Dogs that are staying have to be social / confident enough to be around our 2 spca specials.

Ideally dogs should be dropped off no later than 4pm as it takes a few hours for dogs to settle in and feel at home. Dogs must be collected by 6pm or an additional nights stay is required. Please be on time for drop off (anytime before 4pm just let us know what works for u).

$60/day + $15 for a second dog from same family

HOUSE VISITS (are done by brooke)

have to be in the Wellington area

$25 for 1x visit

$45 for 2x

HOUSE SITTING (is done by Brooke)
