Hey there, I'm Xander and I'm a lifelong friend to creatures great and small. I've had all kinds of pets myself and cared for many more over the years. I know how stressful it can be leaving them, but don't worry, I've got you covered!

I have tons of experience pet sitting. In particular, I've been a regular cat sitter for a household of 5 active adult male cats for the last 6 years, all with their own issues, needs and beefs. If you need a cat fight referee, I'm your man!

I'm a cat specialist, but I love dogs too. I haven't been able to have one of my own since moving back to Wellington over a decade ago, so I always enjoy spending time with them.

Home Visits

In addition to covering all the basics of their care, I'll be attentive to your pets daily needs, whether that's active play or just quiet company. I have plenty of experience giving medication and can provide grooming for pets who need it. I'll also take care of any household tasks and chores. I even enjoy gardening, so if you have plants with specific or finicky requirements, that will be no problem at all. Home visits will include at least 30 minutes of pet attention, and can be up to 1 hour depending on what needs to be done around the house.

Dog Walking

I'm happy to offer dog walking if you're in the Newtown area! Dog walks will be minimum 30 minutes and, at least initially, will be leashed and only around the neighborhood.

I work casually from home so I'm very flexible with dates and times. Afternoons are more convenient for me, but I can work around that if necessary. However, since I don't have a car, any job too far off a bus route will require a travel fee.
