Hi there! I'm Francesca, an Italian who has been living in Welly for the last few years.

As far as I can remember, I always loved animals and I have a fair amount of experience with various pets, specifically dogs and cats.

I had a little dog growing up (fun fact: I got her as a secret Xmas gift for my parents when I was 12) and lots of friends and family members asked me to look after their furry babies.

I volunteer in the dog run at our local SPCA, so I’m familiar with dogs coming from a variety of background and we always get along, even with the naughtiest ones. I sometimes help in the puppies section too, so I'm not scared of tiny, extremely sharp teeth.

Even if I never had one of my own, I lived with cats in the past and I enjoy their company quite a lot! I love playing and cuddling with them, but I also understand when it's time to give space and become friends at their own pace.

I've been learning some training techniques with the SPCA staff, so I'd be more than happy to help training puppies too. I built up some experience in giving medicines too. I'm pretty confident with pills, creams, eyes or hears drops.

I love the outdoors, but I’d gladly do home visits if you think that’s the best option for your friend. Depending on the lenght of the visit we agreed upon, I'm happy to do small chores in the house, such as watering plants, getting mail, ect.

I do have a full-time job, but feel free to contact me so we can work out the best way for me to help you with your furry friends.
