Hi I'm Graham, an experienced dog handler and boarder based in Crofton Downs. The family and I offer a great homely atmosphere for your dog to come stay at - with two teenage boys, two other older dogs, two dog-savvy cats and my wife on board, there's always someone or something around to keep your pooch interested and occupied. With such a full house we only board one other dog at a time, and prefer to spend a bit of time allowing the dog to adjust to life in our household. While we will do quick overnights with dogs we know, we prefer that new dogs come and stay at least a few days with us to help them adjust to our rythmns.

Daily on-lead walks are part of the routine, and if they are staying mid-week, anyone staying can join in on Wicked Wednesday, my weekly group walk (with no more than four dogs) that takes in the trails and walks around Wellington for a four-hour trek.

We have built up good experience with the dogs we have had to stay, and are always looking for the situations where your dog is happiest and at ease. We work hard to ensure your treasured family member is well looked after during our time with us. Our two older dogs are a calm and steady presence in the house, and provide great role models for behaviour with younger dogs. We will monitor any behaviours that we see as "work-ons", and will certainly keep you regularly posted on progress during their stay.

Your dog's safety is also important to us, so we also offer secure transport for pick-up, drop-offs, or when heading out on a walk.
