Kia ora,
My partner and I have decided to stay in Wellington this Christmas holiday, so I thought it would be a great opportunity to meet some new animal friends!
I am based in central Wellington, but I am a train ride away from places slightly afar.
In terms of my pet sitting background, I regularly pet sit for my sister and brother-in-law who have a young dog (who is very naughty), and a cheeky cat.
I have also pet sat for family friends over the years over the Christmas period including birds, dogs, cats (all at once), while maintaining the home. I have also lived with dogs and cats through flatting, so I am familiar with sharing my own space with furry friends!
I have pet sat different dog breeds from mixed breeds, greyhounds, etc. I have also dealt with cats with various different personalities. I am most happy to pet sit any kind of animal! I am a quick learner with the ability to follow instructions, so I am not limited to cats and dogs. I once looked after two axolotls.
I am familiar with administering oral medication, and washing both cats and dogs. Depending on your dog, I can take them for a long walk or shorter walk. I am most happy to work around specific walking schedules too. Over the Christmas break, I am offering at home care so your pet can be familiar with the space (i.e. I will stay at your home while you are away and look after your pet(s) and your home).
I am also happy to offer home maintenance services as well (cleaning, watering plants, laundry etc.) for an extra charge.
Please let me make your trip away a breeze! There’s nothing worse than a stressed out holiday.
I look forward to hearing from you, and thanks for your time in reading in my profile!
Naku, na,
Elizabeth :-)

Elizabeth was a super dog and house sitter.
Our dog had an issue with her paw and Elizabeth was great with pictures and communication and the extra work of going to and from the vets.
Our house was left immaculate which was so nice to return home to. Highly recommendable.
Elizabeth was *amazing* and let me list some of the reasons why:
- when we came home our dogs literally didn't care. They'd been so well looked after they weren't stressed or upset or had noticed we'd left to be honest
- Communication was easy and straight forward. Elizabeth made us feel comfortable, understood and respected, especially important when you're having someone in your home. She kept us updated on our dogs and didn't even tease me for the novella I wrote about them
- From the photos she sent us I could see how happy our dogs were in her company
- She was clearly confident with the dogs as they followed her commands. Knowing that they listened to her felt great
Elizabeth is a wonderful pet sitter and you'd be lucky to have her.
