My name is Lavina Helena Veras Costa and I am a 18 years old Brazilian exchange student at Onslow College (with Work Visa). I have been in New Zealand since April and I’ll leave in March 2020, and since I have a good relationship with pets and they seem to like and trust me, I figured that is a thing that I could spend my time doing with Pawshake. Back in Brazil I have 4 dogs and 4 cats (and a parrot, and a tortoise), and even in the past, I have always been surrounded by a great variation of animals and enjoyed their company. I would say that I have some experience since I was volunteer in animal shelter. Other than my own pets, I have experience with dogs and cats that have been under abusive circumstances, the majority of them was rescued from the streets. Here in New Zealand I live with my uncles and we have two Afghan Hounds called Zhiva and Banzé, they are adorable giants and I can take good care of them (although I don’t thinkis a good idea fo me to take care of other giant dogs since I’m not so tall). In the past they have been under the good company and care of other Pawshake sitters, thats why my uncles said that I should be one as well. I can stay (even overnight) with your pets, walk them the distance you think Its appropriated, administrate oral medication and offer my care and love to them while you are cannot be present.
