Hi, I’m Mel. I'm a professional, caring and responsible house & petsitter. I have been petsitting for many years in NZ.
Pets are family! Having previously worked at Wellington SPCA, I have learned about all types of animal care. I am also trained as an SPCA volunteer dog walker. In my spare time I volunteer for NZ Red Cross, Conservation Volunteers and Wellington Volunteers.
I love books, film, design and photography. I have worked in Marketing and Communications for many years. I really enjoy dog walking - parks and beaches, kitty care, overnight stays and lots of animal cuddles. I have experience pet sitting in peoples homes, and daily dog walking.
I love all animals and have had many childhood pets. I am clean and tidy, but most of all respectful and I'll treat your home like it's my own.
I am available to meet with you before you head away so you can get to know me, discuss details and even meet your pets. Feel free to read my reviews and send me any questions you may have.

Very happy with the service Mel provided. Loved the updates and pictures and house was left very tidy. Most importantly our wee dog was very happy.
We can not recommend Mel enough. She is a wonderful, kind and hugely responsible dog sitter and our pooches loved her. She is a wonderful communicator and we got loads of updates and photos!!! The house looked so perfect when we got home it was hard to believe she had even been here.
