Kia ora all,

My name is Lydia and I have lived 15 years in Wellington. I understand how important pets are as part of your family and I am dedicated to caring for them while you are away. I have had cats all my life and after engaging a wonderful Pawshake cat sitter myself, for my two furbabies, I thought I wanted to give back to others in my community.

 I have been looking after cats and kittens for 32 years and started with my own two cats when I was 7 years old. I have been a cat fosterer for a number of years, a cat mummy of kittens and the carer of elderly grandma cats.

Currently I have adopted two colony cats and have seen them blossom into confident, happy and mischievous cats.

I offer in-house cat sitting services including feeding, changing litter trays, cleaning up after the cats, 30 minute wellbeing/playtime sessions, watering plants, collecting mail and opening/ closing curtains etc.


I work full-time so  I am available early in the mornings, Mon and Friday afternoons and all evenings and of course weekends to spend time with your beautiful cat/s.

I am available for all Stat Days, Easter and  the whole Christmas and New Year period and happy to drive across Wellington to care for your cat/s.
