Kia ora, I’m Erin! I currently work as a lecturer as Victoria University. I grew up around animals my whole life and I love them with all my being. As a child and into my teenage years I lived on a lifestyle block where I had my own horses who I looked after for ten years. 

As well as dogs, cats, chickens, cows and at times even some pigs. In my adult years I missed animals, so I volunteered at the SPCA for three years in the big dog pens cleaning up after the dogs and giving them the love and cuddles they deserved. Following that I adopted my own older cat, who was three legged and blind. Sadly, we had to get her put down last year but I was so happy I could give her a great last few final years. Growing up around different animals has given me confidence around animals, as well as a big appreciation for understanding that each animal is so different in their on individual personality and needs. Throughout my life I have also been responsible for looking after animals with needs, and animals who require medication. Therefore, am confident in giving medication to animals if needed.
