Thanks for taking the time to have a look at my profile.
I am a really big animal lover.
It primarily comes from my compassionate, caring, empathetic nature.
I make regular donations to charities like the SPCA and the WWF because I appreciate that animals cannot stand up for themselves and it pains me when I see them being mistreated.
When I was living in Auckland studying I had a long haired Chihuahua named Pepi.
I absolutely adored him!
I can completely understand how people treat their pets like their fur children because I was the same with him.
I made the really hard decision to rehome him when I realised that working full-time and studying and not being able to be home with him at least one day a week was affecting him.
It's hard to put your pets into the care of other people and I take the responsibility of Pet Minding really seriously.
I decided pet setting would be a great idea because I love animals but while I am saving for my own home I don't feel it is right to have my own pet until I can be secure they will have a home ongoing as my experience with Landlords accepting animals has been mixed.
If I sit for you you can expect me to respect your home and leave exactly how you left it.
I am also happy to tend the garden if you like and any other bits and pieces you need done around the home.
I have been doing some self education online about pet behaviour and training techniques as well. You can expect me to take care of any pets you have to a high standard (I love animals).
I understand that a person's home is very much a prized possession.
If you would like regular updates about how they are doing while you are away I am more than happy to do that also.
Animal care is a real passion of mine.
Pets are so much more settled when they are in their own home and they are with someone who respects their space and their anxieties when their owner is away.
I recently looked after an older doggie with Athritis.
While the owners were away I noticed she seemed to be more uncomfortable than U would have liked.
I rung a vet friend of mine who suggested heat would help.
I purchased a hot water bottle for the dog and she was so much better after that.
It's one example of how I try to go above and beyond for animals that are in my care.
I rwould love to hear from you if you feel we would be a good fit.
Hannah looked after our 20 year old cat (and our dog) over the Easter weekend and we returned to find them both happy and content. Hannah had to sort out a number of medications for our cat and had no problem with this at all. She also spent time at our house looking after them and also walked our dog. A great option and many thanks to Hannah. We look forward to using her services again.
Just to add to our other review, Hannah organised a play date and walk with another dog and sent us a photo which was great. Thanks again Hannah.
