About Linamaria

My name is Lina and I am a 27 year old girl from Norway who loves animals in general. However, I do have more experience with dogs and cats. 

I have two babies back home in Norway, one pomeranian mix and one husky, Scooter and Thyra. Me and my Kiwi partner also have our baby cat Duke here in NZ. 

I grew up with hiking and I still go for hikes and daily walks here in NZ. I do miss my walking buddies though and would love a companion or two to join me for my walks.

I will be more than willing to come to meet up to interact with your animal and see if we get along. Of course to meet you as well as I understand its not easy to give your beloved family member to a stranger. 

  • I can handle both small and big dogs.
  • Used to big and demanding dogs. 
  • I am an active person and would do longer/harder walks with dog with a higher energy level if requested. 

  • I like and find it important to get to know the personallity of each animal I meet.

  • I enjoy practicing general training with dogs. 

  • I respect the animals owers ways and prefferances and will adapt to their wishes. 

  • I take the responsibility and well-being of the animals very seriously. 

  • I love a big couddle. 

  • I am organised and on time for feeding and chekups - I find it important to give my own animals routine and care. 
  • I have worked as a paramedic and grew up with sled dogs - due to this I am familiar with injuries and treatment. 

    • 🦮 A walk will be between 30-45 minutes, depending on preferences, breads, health and age of the dog. If longer walks are wanted, we can discuss price and time as well. I can walk about 3 dogs at the time, depending on zise. 

    🐱 I can come to feed, play and coudle your cat when your away. If medication is needed I will need directions beforehand. 

    🏠 I can also consider housesitting if your going away and you prefer someone being at your house with you pet at all times. 

    I consider my own animals as my family who I would do anything for and I would treat yours the same. Animals, especially dogs and cats are therapy to me, they give me so much love which I believe each and every one of them deserve to receive back. 

    My day job is Mon-Fri and I usually go home around 3.30-4.30. I can walk after work and during the weekends😊

    I am based in Wadestown and know many nice walks around this area.
