Jarred & Paula

Jarred and Paula are animal lovers who would love to look after your furry family members. We have experience looking after dogs and cats.

Jarred: I grew up semi-rural with Rottweilers as loving family dogs and went on to raise a gentle Great Dane, a gorgeous Basset Hound and the most precious Huntaway mix. Cats have also been a regular feature of my life and for reasons unknown, they seem to be drawn to me like a magnet. There's nothing like a cat letting you rub their belly!

Paula: I also grew up semi-rural. With farmers in my family, sheep, lambs, working dogs and cattle were a pretty regular feature. We had a few Foxies as family dogs and our family was never complete without a tabby cat.

We regularly pet/house sit for friends and always enjoy the furry company. When house sitting we make sure our schedules meet the needs of the animals so that they experience minimal change to their routine. We work normal office hours so we would spend time with your pets in the evening, doing walks and activities immediately after work. We also have the flexibility to work from home when needed.

We make the following commitments to your pets:

- Feeding morning and evening (or as per their normal schedule)

- Walking dogs daily after work, for at least an hour

- Spending time with and engaging with your pets in the evening

- Not to leave them unattended for extended periods

- Issue medication if prescribed

Staying in your home, we will:

- Leave your home clean and tidy

- Clean up any pet mess

- Put out rubbish in line with the refuse schedule

- Carry out routine tasks, eg; collect mail, water plants, etc as agreed

- Respect your home and property and treat it with care

We love all animals and are always keen to take the time to simply hang out with them. We know the value of your pets as members of your family and the fulfillment they get from having human company. For us, looking after your pet is more than just feeding and watering. It's about interacting and engaging with your pet and having some fun with them.
