I’m Jess, and I’ve always had a passion for dogs! I recently completed the NZ Certificate in Animal Management – Canine Behaviour and Dog Training (2025), which has given me a strong understanding of canine behaviour, welfare, enrichment, and safe handling. Becoming a dog walker lets me combine my knowledge with something I truly love — spending time with dogs and making their days more enriching.

I’m calm, patient, and reliable, and I focus on creating positive, low-stress experiences for every dog. On my walks, I always prioritise safety: secure equipment checks, calm greetings, and avoiding situations that might overwhelm your dog. I adjust each walk to suit their personality — whether they’re energetic, anxious, shy, or just like to take their time. I use reward-based handling and gentle guidance so every walk feels safe and enjoyable.

My experience includes hands-on work at a doggy daycare during my studies, plus walking my own dogs and friends’ dogs. I provide clear updates after each walk so you know how your dog did and what they enjoyed.

I’ll be expanding services over time, but for now I’m excited to offer dedicated, thoughtful dog walking.
