Our new house in Warkworth is fully fenced and we welcome short and long stays with small female dogs. Our new Bichon/Cavapoo puppy (Lexie) enjoys indoor/outdoor living. She loves going out for a walk each morning and evening.

Our dog is our baby and she just loves company, as we do too. Keith is my husband and loves the dogs as much as I do. We are often down in the bays so happy to arrange to pick up your fur baby or drop off at home, if it suits you. We sometimes have our grandsons visit and they don't have a pet so just love accompanying us taking our visiting dogs for a walk, and having cuddles.

We often have other small dogs that comes to stay and Lexie just loves having someone to chase and play with. Lexie is allowed on the furniture and enjoys lying around all over the house. We usually take her for a free walk each day and she loves meeting other dogs and sometimes jumping in the water to cool off. We love her to bits and also enjoy the company of other dogs. We would prefer to just mind one dog at a time, that way we can give them full attention. We will love your dog and take great care of her.

Our daily routine includes a walk before breakfast, then a mid-morning or mid-afternoon run at Lucy Moore park, then always a 5 pm short walk before dinner. You can set your watch by Lexie. She knows the pre-breakfast and dinner time walks are mandatory. We sometimes leave Lexie at home and inside if it is too hot or somewhere she can't go, but this is seldom and never more than 3 hours. We have a dog door for her to come and go.

We are happy for your dog to sleep on our bed or alternatively sleep in the kitchen with Lexie.

For house sitting we are happy to call in a couple of times each day or stay overnight, where I will bring my own food and respect your property and keep the home clean. I frequently stay in a lovely home in Devonport to watch a dog and cat. Most times I enjoy walking the local area and perhaps doing a jigsaw while keeping the pets company.
