Hello I’m Brigid!

My partner Josh and I arrived in New Zealand in June 2023 and love this beautiful country! We have been pet sitting around Wanaka for over 6 months, so know all about Wanaka animal life!
My partner and I are both from Yorkshire and are 30 and 31 years old. I work part time in town, Josh works remotely in software - this means someone is home all day to care for your animals! We love to be surrounded by animals and since we are working from home, having a pet around really brightens our day! We love to hike and get outdoors - especially with a furry friend in tow!

Preferably both Josh and I will complete the walks/sits together unless solo is required. My gallery has pictures of the both of us.

We have competed over 13 pet sits via different websites and have great references from these. During the sits we lived in house with up to 5 animals so far. Looking after dogs, cats and birds. We fed, walked, cleaned up after and given plenty of love to all the animals. We have also administered medication to a strict routine.

When walking dogs we take them on at least an hour a day minimum unless otherwise instructed. When caring for animals we always take our lead from the owners, sticking to all rules laid out. We are happy to be strict - for example with food or getting on furniture - but equally are happy to look after a spoilt pooch who wants to sleep on the bed! For in house sits we are very clean and tidy, always treating other people's homes the same as our own. We can complete any house tasks that need doing whilst you are away e.g. water plant, garden care, sorting bins.

I do not offer home boarding as our property is unfortunately not suitable for pets. Only walking, drop ins and live in sits. 

I also have a current DBS check (UK police check).
