Kia ora!

We are Myrthe (pronounced Meerta) and Thomas, a very active couple in their 40's with no children. We absolutely love animals, we both grew up with lots of furry friends, including three dogs, a cat, rabbits, birds and chickens. In 2024, we adopted a retired farm dog called Jess, a 9-year-old border collie. 

We used to live in Wānaka but have recently moved to Dunedin. However, we both work remotely which means we can work from anywhere, including your house to provide some nice company to your pets while you're away. Our work is also very flexible and only part-time, which leaves us with lots of spare time to hang out with your pet, go on long walks or runs and provide them with anything else they need.

We are currently available to offer house/pet sitting at the owner's home. Because we would be coming over from Dunedin, we are usually not available for short-term stints. Depending on the dates you need a sitter for, it might be just Myrthe coming or we might come as a family (and bring Jess) if that works for you. 

If it's the both of us coming, your pet will be absolutely spoiled for attention and cuddles! We are also very active so active dogs are sure to get plenty of exercise.

We have been pet sitting for a few years now and can provide references on request. I'm looking forward to meeting you and your pet!
