Hellooo, I'm Giovanna but you can call me G. I'm a pet lover since I was a child, cats and dogs are my passion but I'm open to take care of any animal with much love. 

I'm from Brazil where I lived my entire life and started to help stray dogs and cats, unfortunately there is comum people buy a pet and after that abandoned them on the streets :(

Everything started when I had a shitszu that I bought in 2013. After that searching more about animals I found out that in Brazil almost 20 million of dogs and 10 millions of cats are living on the streets. It made me very upset so I decided to do something to help them to have a better life, as they deserved.

Since that, my parents and I rescued a total of 9 cats and 9 dogs from streets in São Paulo (city that I born) and donate approximately 40 kg of feed per month to NGOs in our city. 

Some of the pets we rescued we took care for a short time, pay for their vaccinations, castration and found a place with a new family to love and take care of them again. 

Nowadays we have a total of 6 cats (including a pawless kitten who suffered abuse) and 6 dogs living in our house in Brazil as part of our family. As I came to New Zealand my parents (their grandparents as I am their mom :)) are still taking care of them with much love. 

They are my everyday missing and how I can't have a pet here in New Zealand because I'm sending money for my parents to help in Brazil, I decided to help who need a hand with their best friends.
