Hi!

My name is Kyra Hancock, im 21 years old and I'm currently bartending casually. 19 months ago my life changed for the better and I received a life saving lung transplant. I am a passionate animal lover who has grown up with both dogs and cats my whole life. I understand just how much pets mean to us!! They’re family and I care for each animal like they’re my own, and while I can help you out by walking your dog or pet sitting for you, you are helping me out by helping me keep active and happy surrounding myself with beautiful animals and positive energy.

I offer a range of pet sitting services including :

Dog walking; small dogs 1-2km, medium dogs 2-3km, large dog breed 3-5km, high energy dogs 6+km, senior dog/health issue dogs 15-30 minutes. This can depend on how your dog does on the walk. I will either pick your dog up and drive us to a dog friendly-walk or we will walk around your neighbourhood if safe. I am available for dog walking from 10am till sundown most days for dog walking WEATHER PERMITTING. Please note I am a small person who weighs 50kg I cannot walk a large dog that is not leash trained for my own and the dog's safety.

Once daily check-ins; maybe you'll be getting home late one day in the week and need someone to pop in and feed your furry friend dinner or maybe you have a young pet that needs a buddy to play with. With these once daily check-ins I will stay in your home with your pet for 30-45 minutes, im happy to feed them, play with them, I'd be more than happy to bring your mail or bins in or even water your plants while im there. Regardless your furry friend gets some loving.

Twice daily check-ins; maybe you are going away for a few days and would like someone to come morning and night to feed, brush, play or snuggle for 40 minutes each check in. Again while I am at your home I'm happy to collect mail, bring in bins, water plants or any odd job I can help with while I'm there.

In-home sitting; I can keep your pets company while you’re away, maybe you have a high needs/anxious pet that needs constant support or maybe you just simply don't want to leave your pet alone and sad in an empty home!! I can stay at your place and look after your pet and your home to make sure it continues to run smooth while you're away are away! Do not worry I can water your plants, bring in mail and packages so they don't get stolen, make sure you still make bin day even if your gone and best of all give your pet some quality lovin and attention.

Whether it’s a quick visit for food and snuggles or a longer stay to make sure they’re not alone, I’m here to help you feel confident that your furry friend is safe, happy, and well cared for. I am happy to give pets medicine as long as instructions are extremely clear and your pet is comfortable taking medication from another person. If you have a fluffy kitty or dog I'm happy to give them a daily brush, I'll happily give your dog a bath (I have experience bathing cats however I will not do so unless necessary).

I have years of personal experience looking after animals of all ages and temperaments, and I’m comfortable following specific routines or handling special needs. While I don’t take pets into my own home (for my own pets comfort), I’m more than happy to come to yours and give your pet and even home the attention they deserve.
