Helloooo my name is Kate and I am a qualified Veterinary Nurse who also assists on the family dairy farm in rural TE AWAMUTU, WAIKATO. I love to spend time at home with my own animals and family while helping others with their cherished pets.

I am offering weekend/holiday FARM STAYS/boarding here on the farm! The dogs have the time of their lives playing and having adventures on the farm and also enjoy the home comforts of being inside and coming with me everywhere. I have over 2O years experience as a vet nurse and have always loved animals. I love sharing my home with my guests and they get treated like part of my own family. We have a dog friendly home and also vehicles specifically for my guests to come with us everywhere, including down the farm. I also offer dog walking in evenings or weekends and animal feeding and nursing/medicating animals as well.

I prefer animals to come and stay with me on the farm as I have animals of my own and a family and dogs love it here. House sitting is still an option in certain circumstances.

Animals will sleep inside, in comfort and they will have their own bean bag/ bed or crate if preferred and my daughter loves to cuddle any dogs that are used to being with someone at night.

I have experience handling all types of animals including large dogs, small dogs, cats, guinea pigs, ducks, lambs, goats and ponies.

I am a fit, healthy, experienced handler who wants to spend more of my own time with my family and helping people and their animals.

I am experienced with injured or older animals that need medicating and can give flea and worm treatments if required and simple grooming.

I can change bandages or give injections, oral medications and trim nails. And also happy to clip knots and give baths.
