Kia ora! I am a friendly and dedicated animal lover and have always had animals in my life. I find great joy in interacting and forming bonds with all species. Growing up in the UK, I had pet dogs (husky, german shepherdand labrador), cats, hamsters and rabbits. I worked in mental health and during my spare time I volunteered with a dog trainer and assisted in puppy training classes.  

Since leaving to travel I found so much purpose in working at animal sanctuaries. I worked as a volunteer at a dog sanctuary in Thailand and I have just recently left working as an assistant manager at a farm animal sanctuary in Ōtaki. Where I cared for goats, sheep, pigs, cows, horses, rabbits, chickens, dogs, and cats. I have bottle fed goat kids, lambs, rabbits and hand fed baby pukeko. I built a prosthetic leg for a 3 legged lamb and learnt to cut goat and sheep hooves. I am confident with interacting with animals and have experience medicating and administering injections to a variety of species. Since moving to Mount Maunganui, I have missed not living closely with animals and would enjoy the opportunity to get to know your pets and assist in enriching their lives with walks, pet sitting and heaps of love.
