My name is Ann and I have had pets all my life ; mice, guinea pigs, birds, cats and dogs.

My kids have now left home and unfortunately my cat of 19 years passed 2 years ago. I am enjoying the freedom of going away when it suits, but I do miss having company so I am currently co-parent to 2 small dogs who stay every 2nd week.

I would enjoy having other pets to look after, especially if it means helping you with personal care and attention of your fur babies.

I understand how hard it is sometimes to get short term and short notice care for your pets

I do not have a preference to any breed or size, I enjoy all animals.

I live in the suburbs of Tauranga and we have many walking tracks close to my house, including down at reserves and grassed areas.

I have a fully fenced section and live on a back property so your pets will be safe from passing traffic.

I also come pet sit at your place if that is more preferable for you - especially for cat sits.

I will treat your pets how you request, I will walk dogs once a day, with a second walk.an optional extra. I will only walk them on leash to ensure their safety. I interact and play with them regularly and I have no problem with them staying inside at night, if this is your instruction.

I have administered oral medication to my own pets in the past and have no issues with doing this.

I do not have facilities to groom a dog however I regularly brush the dogs I currently look after.

I am always happy to meet you and your "baby or babies" to see if we are a match, and if the pet will be comfortable staying - best to know prior to dropping off 😀

vaccinated, wormed and flea treated
when requesting a booking.

Checklist of what to bring when your pet stays:

     - Food and bowl if fussy or needs to eat
slowly (I have normal bowls)

     - Bed and blankets

     - crate if your pet is used to this

     - Favourite Toys

      - Treats 

      - Lead

I am currently studying Certificate in Animal Care which is increasing my understanding of animal behaviors and individual needs.
