I’m Samantha Walters 😁 I am certified in Canine Psychology, Behaviour, and Training. Though I am going to continue to strengthen my knowledge in canine training to better serve my clients with reactivity, anxiety and unwanted behaviours as well as my puppy clients that need more structure and guidance.

Alongside my passion for animals, I’m an avid outdoor enthusiast, amateur photographer, and currently studying nursing.

My love for nature is just as strong as my passion for animals. I enjoy exploring Aotearoa, New Zealand, through activities like multi-day hikes, canoeing, and biking, often with a furry companion by my side. This connection to the outdoors is reflected in how I care for animals ensuring they stay active, engaged, and happy.

Services I offer

 🐾 Dog Walking - I love walking with my clients! I can do neighbourhood walks for my not so social clients or clients that do not have the best recall. However, I prefer to do long bush walks, beach runs and dog parks. I am very attentive to my clients and their body language and our surroundings and I do not let them off leash until I am confident with their recall and our environment is safe.

🐾Doggy Day Care - Tues,Wed,Thurs 8am to 5pm

8am is when I start pick up

We start the day with a hike or a beach run, sometimes both if there is a track close to a beach.

We have a rest time for a few hours and then finish the day with some mental stimulation exercises, desensitising, play and training exercises.

From 4-4:30pm I start drop off and everyone should be home in their secure area either a crate or fenced backyard by 5pm.

🐾House Sitting - This is a great service that allows your dog to remain in their comfortable and familiar environment whilst still getting love and care whilst you're away. Their routine, exercises and training will be up kept aswell as your home.

🐾 Boarding - Sadly I do not do boarding anymore.

My home is fully fenced and is a safe space that can be used as a space for daycare with nearby parks, beaches and bush walks.
