Hiya! I'm Samantha, a doggo loving outdoors enthusiast. I love getting outside and walking doggo Floyd, taking him to all his favourite parks incuding Scarborough Reserve, Alberon Reserve, along the Hobson Bay walkway and through the Auckland Domain. I'm currently studying medicine at the University of Auckland, and spend my time between working at Whangarei Hospital and down here in Auckland. I love dog's and walking, and it's a great stress relief for me, which is why I want to get out and walk all the dogs I can! I don't do pet sitting or pet daycare, but I can take your dog out for a walk or run, on or off the lead and if you have a hose or shower I can give them a bit of a wash afterwards... the parks can get pretty muddy!

I've mostly walked small to medium sized dogs, but would be comfortable walking larger dogs too as long as they are well trained. I used to walk dogs in high school for a bit of extra pocket money but I don't have any formal dog walking qualifications aside from my doggo floyd giving me a woof of approval after particularly interesting walks. Floyd and I sometimes practise sprints in the park if we are feeling energetic or he has gotten into the pasta packets again, but if we are feeling lazy then a meander through the Domain bush tracks is very relaxing.

If your doggo is well trained then I'm very happy to walk them and take them off leash if you like. I will walk naughty doggo's but only if they are on the smaller side and we won't go off leash. I'm quite firm, floyd and I practise sitting before I put the lead on or off and I usually try to keep the dogs walking on my right side. If there are other things you like your dog to practise on walks then we can incorporate those as well. I'll also only walk your dog(s) and won't combine dog walking jobs as I like to keep my attention focused instead of having ten dogs to try control... plus floyd doesn't like walking with other dogs and reckons he enjoys walks more when he gets all my attention.
