I am a 19 year old female interested in pet sitting your furry friend! My motivation to be a pet sitter is simply because I adore all animals. I do not have experience in pet sitting, however, in the past I have had 3 dogs and one cat of my own before I moved to the country almost 3 years ago and unfortunately I could not take them with, which I was heartsore about. I have loved them with all my heart, took care of them to the best of my ability, and in result of that I've had them wag their tails and purr in joy! I really am passionate about animals, whether it is my own pet, or someone else's, seeing them lights my day up and brings a smile on my face. You could say, I like animals more than humans! With my experience in having pets before, I know how to love and take care of them and you can trust me in knowing that I will live up to my word.

ABOUT MY SERVICES: I include Doggy Daycare, meaning I can spend the day with your dog or cat, I am happy with either or. I am able to administer medication to your pet, not injectables, but tablets in their food or treats as I have done this before with my own pet. I have had experience with bathing pets, as long as I know they don't mind having a bath, being brushed and blow dried after. I can board 2 dogs/cats at the same time, 1 is preferred and above 2 is too much to handle. I can offer multiple dog walks around my area, if you would like me to, the area is safe for children and dogs to walk, there is a park 2 minutes walking distance from where I stay. I can spend the whole day with your pet, I am not required to leave during the day, but if I am for any reason, I will let you know and it would be for under an hour, however the likelihood is rare. I am available most days of the week, I do have a job that I cannot do from home however I only work on Thursdays and Saturdays so the other days off I am here at home. I do sometimes pick up extra shifts to work but that would be updated in my calendar. When I had pets, pet care would fit into my routine everyday. I was responsible for taking complete care of my cat, I fed her everyday, bathed her at least once a month as she is already self sufficient with bathing, I would play with her and brush her, every time I felt like she needed to be brushed. With my 3 dogs, I was also responsible for feeding them everyday, I would also bathe all of them at least once a month and give them a brush. Now that I have moved to New Zealand I do not have any pets therefore pet care is not apart of my daily routine, however, I do remember the experiences I've had with mine to be able to take care of yours. As the last time I have cared for my pets is 3 years ago. Although, I have taken care of my cat for 10 years, and my 3 dogs for 5, so I am built on years of experience and responsibility. I do not mind if your pet is vaccinated or not, however, I do not want to be exposed to anything that could be contagious from them or harmful. I do not mind having big dogs as long as they aren't aggressive, playful is what I would prefer. I can handle 1 or 2 big dogs, given that they know how to behave at times, I am more than happy with 1 or 2 small dogs/puppies, if anything it would be slightly easier to take care of. I am also more than happy with 1 or 2 cats/kittens as I have had the most experience with them.

ABOUT MY HOME: I live with both my parents and my 16 year old brother. As I have said, we've all had pets and experience with animals so it would not be an issue. Although, during the weekdays, my parents are at work and my brother is at school so it would just be me at home looking after your pet and it would not interfere with any of my family members. I do not have any other pets in my house. Your pet is allowed to sleep in the lounge, given they would come in a crate/cage or their own doggy bed to sleep in. There is more than enough room for it to be left open for them to get up and freely walk about in the house. I have a backyard that is fully fenced and is safe to walk around in, it is not big but it is big enough for your dog/s to use the toilet around given that there is equipment I am handed to, to clean up.
