Motivation: I just love animals and this is a great way to spend more time with them, I am unable to commit to adopting a pet at this time so this satiates that urge. I have also really enjoyed meeting so many friendly local people while house sitting!

Pet Experience
- Dog Walking: I have walked many dogs over the years. Additionally, my dog was reactive with other dogs so I have experience in training and calming methods in walking a reactive/anxious dog. 

- Have done pet sitting for many different people in the past (before I learnt about Paw Shake) and am always excited to build on my experience with all animals. 

- Training puppies and older dogs (my own, friends and family dogs)

- Lifelong experience with animals due to upbringing in an animal loving home. I grew up around dogs (German Shepherds, mixed breeds), cats, homing pigeons, chickens, horses, guinea pigs, rabbits.

- Soley cared for my cat and a dog for 10 years until they both passed away (within a few years of each other).

Availability/Work

I work 8:30am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday, after work and weekends are generally clear for me. I have an hour lunch break during the day so if you are a Silverdale local then I could also pop in during my break to check on pets if I was sitting throughout the week. 

 Personal Traits
- I'm very respectful of house rules and cleanliness. I want you to be able to relax after your holiday and not have to vacuum or take out the trash etc, I do it all without being asked because I care about more than just the pets. 

- I enjoy crafting, gaming, reading, knitting and watching movies in my spare time. I am a homebody, this means I enjoy just snuggling away on a couch with a dog or cat while I watch a movie.

- Love getting some form of fitness into my days (walking, stretching, weight lifting). I enjoy getting some exercise in with a furry friend so dog walks are exciting for me.
