My name is Kathryn and I am currently at university completing my last year of study as a veterinary nurse. Due to my studies I am handling animals in a veterinary practice on a weekly basis. I have a lot of knowledge on animals along with proper care and welfare.
Living in the Waitakere area I know many of the walking tracks through the bush, as it is a common place a take my own two dogs. I am happy to take your dog along with mine for some socialisation or happy to take them separately.
I offer house sitting, house visits and dog walking.
Full refund if canceled before 12:00 p.m. one day before the booking, 50% refund afterward.
No refund is payable if the booking is canceled on or after the start date.
Note: All times are based on the sitter’s time zone
Kathryn stayed at our house and looked after our dogs (a husky and a Doberman) while we went overseas for 10 days. The dogs were really relax when we got back and didn't seem to miss us at all. The house is also clean and tidy. We would highly recommend Kathryn and happily to ask her to look after our dogs again.
Thank you Kathryn, for taking such good care of our boy. I was a bit nervous about leaving him, as with previous experience, he did not tend to get the love and exercise he needs and gets with us. So it was important to me, he was with someone, who not only had experience with dogs, but also had a natural love for animals. The fact you also have experience in dog behaviour and obedience, is really what made me select you. And I am happy to say my nerves were in vein and you certainly were the right person for the job. He looked really good and happy when we got home and I could tell he had not been affected by our away time, like the last time. I really appreciated you keeping me informed of how he was going and also the photo’s reassured me, he wasn’t missing us a bit. I will be recommending you to anyone I know, who needs a dog sitter and if the situation presents itself again, we will certainly be coming back to you. Thanks again Kathryn
Due to being a veterinary nurse in training I am able to offer any extra care your animal may need such as medicating.
