Hey there,

I'm Bree, 21 years old and have recently finished studying a Batchelor of Outdoor Education and Sustainability at Ara institute of Canterbury. I have recently moved up to Rotorua after having lived here the last two summers during my study breaks and working at Rotorua Canopy tours. I'm currently living in near the city with my partner.

I have always grown up with dogs, cats and a few horses over the years and have spent a lot of time on my aunties farm with lots of dogs, cats, horses, chickens, sheep, cows, turtles, birds you name it! I have always loved being out on the farm surrounded by animals so it has been an interesting adjustment living in the city.

What is my motivation to be a pet sitter?

I have always loved animals especially dogs and as my family dog Ella a bullmastiff x staffy gets older I miss company on my runs. I am a pretty active person usually running 4-6 times a week. I believe that this could be a perfect opportunity to earn some extra money and more enjoyment with four legged company to my runs.

My dog walking:

I love walking and exploring and will usually run or walk anywhere from 5-10km. Living near the lake I often run a loop near these areas. I also have a car to take the dog to new areas like the lake, forest or drive to your house.

About my pet/house sitting

I have a fair amount of experience pet sitting mostly with dogs and cats. This experience has been with friends and family and this app for the last few months, I am happy to provide references for you. With my work being flexible there is potential for me to house sit up to a week at a time depending on my schedule. I am happy to look after the house, keeping plants alive, checking mail to increase the security of the home as it wouldn't appear empty to when you are away.
