I have been working with animals since 2013 and completed the National Diploma in Veterinary Nursing from Otago Polytechnic in 2016. I have been working as a full-time Veterinary Nurse since.
Apart from being able to perform general nursing skills. I have a particular interest in feline nursing, feline handling, and behaviour training. I have completed the ISFM Advanced Certificate in Feline Behaviour and going to study the Diploma in Feline Nursing soon.
After a long break and relocation for employment, I decided to return to Pawshake. I had an excellent experience looking after pets, and also had great feedback with my services.
Why do I want to become a pet sitter?
I missed the chance to meet gorgeous fur-clients and be able to make them happy and comfortable while owners enjoy their time off.
I have seen so many animals who were stress out in unfamiliar facilities. I want to make sure every animal I am looking after satisfies with my care and services. Owner's holiday = pet's holiday.
I want to help the feline clients with unwanted behaviour problems with my knowledge so that they can have a happy life.
I have been working as a registered vet nurse for more than three years. I am confident in general handling, feeding, grooming, medicating, and I like to send a daily update to the owner via text or Messager or other social media while looking after the special fur babies.
My purpose for pet-sitting is to share my loves, help others.
I would also love to help out in general handling, training, and feline problem behaviour modification as request.
Once again Selina you were brilliant, many thanks!
Selina was great, would highly recommend!
