My name is Nikita. I'm 24, I live in Nelson, and have been around all sorts of animals growing up, caring for them over the years. I've always had a strong desire to look after them and give them a good life. So I've started my own pet sitting/dog walking business called Whiskers, wags, and walks on Facebook and am hoping to meet some lovely pets and their humans. I put all my energy and care into looking after your pet babies, making sure they're always happy, healthy, having fun, and treating them as another part of the family. I have been offering professional pet care services, including dog walking and pet sitting, since August 2024. My main focus is dog walking, dog boarding, and doggy daycare, although I'm open to other requests. For dog daycare and boarding, I like to spend a lot of time in the yard playing tug, fetch, with other toys, and go for x2 1-hour walks a day to somewhere fun that your dog will enjoy, like the beach, river, bush, or dog park, then relax for cuddles and a nap on a comfy dog bed or couch. I stick to your dogs/pets' feeding, walking, sleep schedule, and routine to give them the best time possible, and water is provided at all times.

For dog walks I can do 30min & 45min individual walks or the most popular 1 hour adventure pack walks at the beach, river, bush, or wherever your dog prefers and I take treats, a ball thrower, and frisbee to make the most of the adventure.

To give peace of mind to pet parents, I have a clean CR check, can provide references, have taken a pet first aid course online, always carry a pet first aid kit with me, and am a member of and vetted by Pet Sitting New Zealand.
