A Love for Animals

I grew up with both cats and dogs and have a real passion for animals. This is probably best shown when my wife and I started a small side business importing and selling cruelty-free cosmetics and beauty products because it was so hard to find good quality alternatives to the large makeup brands which test all their products on animals.

Becoming a Pet Sitter

In late 2018 I made a change and started my own digital marketing business which I operate from home rather than working for another company. This has given me more time to spend with our cats and the family's dog. But the nature of my work requires me to sit at a desk a lot and I'm looking to keep myself active as well as force myself to take breaks during the day. I thought that combining this need with the love I have for animals would be perfect, it gives me a good reason to step away from the desk and get out of the house, to go for a walk and get fresh air.

Dog Walking

I'm available most days to walk dogs of any size. Personally I prefer medium to large dogs, but they're all cute. I live in Red Beach so ideally want to stay close. I'd be looking at walking your dog around the neighbourhood, down to a park close by, around the Orewa estuary walkway and (depending on the time of year) the beach.

Cat & Dog Sitting

If you're heading out of town and need someone to pop round to check in and feed your pets or just spend a bit of time with them, I'm more than happy to do so.

Exotic Animals

Like cat and dog sitting, I'm more than happy to pop in and check up on your beloved pet, however, with some exotic animals, you'll need to be a bit specific about what you want/need me to. This just comes from not having owned many exotic animals myself.
