Hello and welcome to Fox's Doghouse!

My name is Stan. I'm a Welsh girl who has now settled long term in Queenstown (11 years with a Kiwi passport!)

I have my own property with a fully fenced garden. There are lots of lovely walking trails nearby, as well as a big park and the lake. I mostly work from home so have very flexible hours.

I had dogs growing up and I just love their company. I have my own Hungarian Vizsla (AKA the Hungarian Hurricane) who loves to play with other dogs. I have a good understanding of hyperactive dogs and can initiate some calming techniques when necessary. I'm interested in behavioural training and agility, which I practice regularly with Fox. I love learning about all the different quirks that different dog breeds have, as well as the different personalities. No two dog personalities are ever the same!

I have decided to open up our house for another dog to join us, if their owners go on holiday or want to sightsee in Queenstown. My limit is usually one one dog at a time just due to space and chaos (!) - however I can take a second dog in for very short term or if there is a cross over. Fox loves to play with other dogs and I am very active.

I have a fully fenced grassy garden with a high wooden fence, so no escapees! I am happy to have dogs sleep in our room with us, on their own bed on the floor.

I have a Velcro dog...I understand separation anxiety!
