I am a mature lifelong animal lover. My current animals include two horses, one border collie and two cats. I work part time as a shift leader at an animal welfare organisation in the cat and small animal team so most of my days revolve around animals. I'm interested in all aspects of animal care but mainly about connecting and understanding animal behaviour. I recently did a Rural Animal Veterinary Technician course and do enjoy rural animals as well as companion animals. I am happy to discuss what you are wanting for pet care and will try to fit in with your needs. A lot depends on the animal and how they like to spend their time so I like to be flexible - ask me for what you need and I'll see how I can help. When it comes to dogs I prefer to walk dogs that have some basic training and that are social with other dogs. Again, not a hard and fast rule - it depends on the dog. My dog and I have completed Level 3 Domestic Obedience and Canine Good Basics.
