Hello! I love animals and have lived with animals since I was eight years old. My first word was cat! Previously I cared for a jack russell for six years with my ex partner, so I am experienced with high energy dogs and training. I worked in a cattery for five years, and grew up with a cat, and currently live with my flatmates' two cats. 

I am very active, and love going for walks to the nearby beaches, forest and inlet. I usually work from home so I am happy to walk dogs at lunch times in my area. Very happy to pet sit and do home visits as well. I'm just keen to spend more time with animals! 

I would love to meet your pet before any pet sitting or any walks to make sure that we are the right fit. I am vaccinated against COVID-19. For cat only pet sits four nights or more I will offer a discount of 15% for the total booking. 

Please note, due to changes in my work situation, I cannot currently commit to any pet sitting/visits beyond September, except for cats or other pets that do not require me to work from home. There is a discount for pets that aren't dogs :)

For house sitting I will:

- ensure fresh water is available at all times

- walk your dog for an hour or 2 x half hour walks a day - whatever your preference

- play with your dog for at least half an hour

- feed your dog at appropriate feed times

- brush your dog

- train your dog for half an hour if you would like that (simple tricks such as paw, down, sit, come, etc) 

- be with your dog as much as possible and not leave your dog for a longer period of time than it is used to/you prefer

- for other types of pets, I will clean out their cages/litter trays regularly

- Administer any oral medications

- clean your home if desired

- wash and replace the bedding

- any simple gardening tasks such as weeding and watering (I am a keen gardener so I know what is a plant and what is a weed!) 

For home visits:

- I will play/cuddle your pet for 30 minutes (at the time you specify) 

- make sure they have fresh water and feed them if needed

- administer any oral medications

- take them outside (if needed) for a bathroom break

*Since I can often work from home, if I have access to wifi I can stay with your pet part/entire days (9am - 4.30pm) if that is better for your pet. If you would like me to stay with your pet longer than half an hour, please book 2 x home visits.

Due to increased transport costs, I can't take Hutt Valley bookings anymore, sorry!
