Hi, my name is Lorraine, I am a resident of Papamoa Beach, I live with my husband at a quiet location, in a single level home which is secure and dog friendly. My garden is of medium size, fully fenced and gated and has both grass and concrete areas. Due to my home environment I am able to care for dogs over 1 years in age and under 25 kg.
Since the loss of ‘Maggie’ our beloved 15yr old Labradoodle, I find myself with a gap in my heart and time on my hands. Caring for other people’s dogs will surely fill that gap. I am happiest when I have a dog by my side, their loyalty and quirky qualities are priceless, they bring joy to our hearts. There are no other pets in our household and I am able to dedicate around the clock care. My husband frequently works from home, so can be available if I need to pop out.
Over the years when needed, I have had the pleasure to care for my family and friend’s pets. Also, I gained invaluable experience working with dogs as a dog groomer in my own home-based studio. My motto was to transform my canine clients with the upmost care and humanity, to produce the desired results with the least discomfort. Seeing these beautiful dogs of all shapes, sizes, breeds and personalities, leave my studio happy and looking their best, was extremely rewarding.
I live a short walk from Papamoa Easts beautiful beach and waterways and it will be a joy and a pleasure to exercise your dog safely, up to twice a day, on its leash in our neighbourhood. Each walk will be from 10 minutes to 45 minutes depending on their individual needs.
I will adhere to your dog’s routine, exercise and dietary requirements, creating a safe and fun environment for their stay. Your dog will have free roam of our house and garden and can sleep where it chooses, including our bedroom. I have a dogs bed, toys and food bowls, however you are welcome to bring your own, along with your dogs food, toilet bags and medication if needed.
Last, but not least, I look forward to a meet and greet with you and your dog prior to your booking.
