Hi, my name is Chanelle and for as long as I can recall I’ve always absolutely adored cats!

I work casual/part time at a Kennel (and recently closed Cattery) called Brookby Lodge and have been there since early 2018. So I have quite a bit of experience with all kinds of cats and their different personalities, administering oral and topical medications, keeping their areas tidy, dealing with any messes they may make, keeping track of a cat's wellbeing, and giving lots of pats and cuddles!

In 2024 Brookby Lodge decided to close their cattery which prompted me to have a go at doing my own (very small) cattery at my home residence called Puddy Cat Sleepover.

My cattery was open from December 2024 till February 2025 (the Christmas school holiday period). I had hoped to reopen every Christmas however due to family circumstances this is no longer a possibility.

At my busiest period I had 13 amazing cats under my care. And from the beginning to the end of my cattery I welcomed 20 different cats into my home. Even though my cattery business was short lived I had a blast and learnt so much from the experience. And now I'm excited to start my new venture into Pawshake and its pet sitting services.

During the week I work at Brookby Lodge a random 3 and a half days. On those days I’m unavailable from 7:45am to 6:15pm (on my half days I finish at 12pm). But I’m happy to do any home visits prior to 7:45am or after 6:15pm on those days.

I am also happy to water plants, bring in mail, turn on/off lights, and any other small upkeep household tasks you wish.
