Hello! I’m Isobel, or Izzy, and I am a 21 year-old student studying Veterinary Science at Massey University. I love and am extremely passionate about caring for all animals and am happy to say that over my period of studying, I have learned low-stress handling techniques, administering medication as well as training techniques for both companion and production animals. However, I am looking for more experience outside of my University courses and this is what has motivated me to become a pet sitter. I would love to have the opportunity to take care of a variety of animals, all with different personalities and traits, and help to enhance your pets welfare and build a friendship with them.

Services:

With each service I would provide,

- A few photo updates of your pet to provide you with reassurance and so that you can see what your pet is doing throughout the day.

- Reliable communication if any changes or questions arise.

- Knowing that while you are away they are safe and in loving and caring hands.

- Dog Walking: I would love to take your pet for a walk/give it a chance to exercise while you are away. My starting rate is $20 for one pet and then an extra $5 for each additional pet.

- Pet and House Sitting: I am more than happy to pet/house sit for multiple nights and am happy to negotiate about how long this may be. I am able to leave or come within certain timeframes to what suits you and you pet(s). Along with looking after your cuties I will help with the upkeep of the house by vacuuming, taking out the rubbish, bringing in mail or other general household duties requested. My rate for house sitting is $50 per overnight stay.

- Home Visits: I offer home visits once or twice daily. These visits would be for a duration of 1 hour but can be discussed if you would like me to stay for a longer or shorter period of time. During these visits I will happily feed your pet(s), ensure there is fresh water, let them out for loo or exercise breaks, administer oral medication or topical medication (for example, creams). I am also happy to trim nails if requested. If there is anything else you would like me to do, please feel free to let me know. For x1 home visit my rate is $20 and then $30 for x2.

As part of my services I would also be happy to help provide training for basic tricks such as sitting, shake, turn etc. and I would only use positive reinforcement training techniques.

I am a reliable and friendly person and will love to get the chance to take care of your pets while you are away.
