I'm Bridgette and my son Zavier (8) and I live near Waikawa Beach in Manakau. We moved here from Upper Hutt in April 2023 after we lost our own dog and we love it so much. Zavier grew up with our Rottweilers Max and Lola until they both passed away and we have spend the last the last 18 months healing from our loss. We both love dogs so much but unfortunately it's not the right time for us to make a permanant commitment with a new member to our family so as we get so much joy from having animals in our lives we would love to help you out.

In the past I have volenteered for the Rottweiler Rescue and Rehoming charity and walked dogs for HUHA in Otaki, and as a big breed owner i'm used to managing what comes with that.
I'm currently training for the NZ Great Walks, the first was Tongaririo on my birthday at the end of November last year, so a walking buddy would be ideal. I regulary venture down to Waikawa Beach and the bush walk near the closed Waikawa Campsite. Childfriendly is not a deal breaker as Zavier will likely be at school but around on the weekends.

Along with Dog walking (including pick up and drop off) I can come to your house and feed your other pets and provide company as required.
