I’m a dedicated animal lover with over two decades of direct dog & cat ownership experience and keen to help out with your furry friends. My background includes caring for both large & small breeds, providing me with the expertise to handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments confidently. 

I work from home nearly all lof the time so have the flexibility to take on walking or caring for other dogs & cats. My husband and I have two cavoodles, Charlie, our 4yr old girl, who rules the roost and Enzo, our 2yr old boy, who does whatever Charlie says or does! I'm regularly walking around Sunny Otaki (and the Kapiti Coast) which has many local dog friendly parks, a specific dog park and the beach. I'm familier with walking one, two or more dogs at a time and soley focus on the dogs and their walk.

Before Charlie and Enzo my husband and I had a large Huntaway cross called Jessie. She was a rescue farm dog which we domesticated and lived to be a grand old lady while our children grew up around her. We've had countless cats during that time (all that we're either rescue kittens or cats, or who found us, and decided to stay!) We currently have a 17yr old white fluffy cat called Paris, who although is now very deaf and only has one ear, is still with us bossing the dogs around!

I groom, including with clippers, both our dogs, so although I'm hardly professional, I'm competent at keeping their fur clean, tidy and matt free. I'm happy to wash and groom your dog if required. I'm comfortable administering basic medication to cats and dogs.

I've transport to come to your home and take them via car to a suitable place for exercise or can walk them from where you live. Although the app states a 30min visit I'm not in any hurry and regularly stay longer. I'm physically fit and love being hands on with all animals and have a deep-seated passion for the health, fitness, and happiness of all the dogs and cats I handle. I'm familiar with puppy handling and training (having raised dogs from puppies), older dogs that need different care and also rescue dogs which may have behavioural challenges. I'm happy entertaining and playing with your puppy, dog or cat in your home or to stimulate them with excercise.

I build rapport easily with both pets and their owners, ensuring a trusting relationship. You can count on me to be punctual and dependable, providing consistent care for your pets. I’m flexible so can accommodate various schedules and pet care needs. I'm available most weekdays but happy to discuss your needs and what best for your pet. I can walk your dog(s) alone or with others if you'd like them to become more doggy socialised.
