Only my husband and I live on our rural property. We offer day care and overnight stays with the dogs staying in our home. I can administer medications when required and have one regular boarder who needs injections. We don't leave the property to exercise the dogs but spend a lot of time doing that on our property. My husband still works but I am retired and stay at home when I have boarder dogs unless I need to go grocery shopping or have an appointment. The dogs are secure when I am out and I have a camera system so I can check on them and talk to them when required. I have availability during the year and over a holiday periods. If we are going away ourselves, we have experienced and reliable people coming in that mind the dogs, one of which is a vet nurse. We have 3 little dogs of our own and called our home stay facility Phebes Doggie Sleepover but Phebe has passed away and deserves a rest so we have renamed it to Minden Mutts. We have an acre for socialising and playing in and an amazing hill to roll balls down. Our whole property is fenced for small dogs and other dogs who don't jump fences. There are several private areas in case a dog needs space. We accept mainly small dogs and old dogs that get on with Dottie (16) who we have recently adopted after her human died, Bae (13) our grandson's dog, and Kitty (3) and ensure potential boarder dogs get on with them at a meet and greet prior to booking.  Part of the time at the meet and greet is ensuring that they are happy to ignore chickens wandering around on the other side of the fence. In the summer there are lovely decks to keep cool on and for winter a great wood burner to keep toastie and warm.🐶🐕🦮🐕🦺🐩
