Hi! My name is Sarah, I’m 25 years old and live in the West Harbour area. I’m originally from Scotland, but grew up in Auckland. I’m currently studying for my master’s degree, which is mostly online.

Alongside my studies, I work as a pet and house sitter because I genuinely love all animals, and this allows me to care for them while I study. I’ve always grown up with animals, especially cats, and at the moment I have two: Sox (aged 16) and Chilli (6 months old). Sadly, I don’t have any dogs of my own right now, so this role not only gives me a little extra income, but also lets me spend time with dogs and other pets, which I absolutely love.

I am an experienced pet and house sitter, as well as a dog walker, sometimes walking up to seven dogs at once! I’m very familiar with pets and their care, and I always ensure their safety, make sure they’re properly fed throughout the day, and keep everything clean and tidy. I’m also experienced in administering medication to older dogs and cats, so you can rest assured your pets are in capable hands.

Housesitting
I specialise in looking after your home and pets so you can enjoy a stress-free trip away. Since my studies are mostly online, I’m able to spend plenty of time at your place, making sure everything is running smoothly and your pets are happy and comfortable.

Dog Walking
When it comes to dog walking, I love taking dogs to some of Auckland’s dog-friendly beaches and forest walks, so they can experience the outdoors and have a good run around. Walks can range from 30 minutes to 4 hours, with options for forest, beach, or (dry) coastline walks, depending on your dog’s needs.

My schedule is quite flexible as long as I have a few days’ notice, but I’m also happy to accommodate the occasional last-minute request. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have; I can’t wait to meet you and your pets!
