Hi! I am Lauren. I grew up on a small farm in Cape Town South Africa where we always had many many pets running around. I'm comfortable with all sizes and breeds of dogs, I love cats and I have some experience with horses, ponies, ducks, geese and once, a red deer!

Me and my partner moved over to NZ about a year ago. I worked in the film industry in South Africa and have continued to do so here in New Zealand. Since this is freelance based, I have alot of free time in between shoots. I will only be taking Pawshake jobs when I am not booked for film work. This means that I will be able to spend my whole day with your pet and give it the care and attention needed. I can provide 24/7 supervision for your pet if needed.

My dog walks are 30min at a minimum and I make sure dogs get some excersise and some time to sniff and explore all the interesting things along the way

I only board one "family" of pets at a time so the animals are safe and do not need to deal with the stress of interactig with new and strange animals.

For the first year in New Zealand, me and my partner was a part of Kiwi House sitters, where we did some wonderful house sits and got to meet and look after adorable pets, from very young and excited puppies to more senior pets. I have also worked for a company that looks after animals while the owners are on holiday. In this job I often looked after pets that needed daily medication and grooming so I am experienced and happy to provide that service for your pet. We have a study downstairs where pets can sleep for the night but they are also welcome to spend the night in the living room. 

We don't have any pets of our own at the moment, so your pet will have our undivided attention and love. 

We live across the road from a beautiful park and very close to the beach where your dogs could play. Our yard is fully fenced and very safe. Our gates lock and are safe and secure.

Late afternoon pickups usually adds a day care charge, but times can be discussed
