I am an experienced pet care consultant with over 9 years professional experience. I have always had a passion for animals and pet care, having volunteered since the age of 11 at my local farm park with small animals and farm animals. In 2015 I started with a pet care company as a pet care consultant feeding cats, walking dogs, house sitting, and pet taxi. After finding another full time job I continued pet care consulting on a casual basis with a couple of regulars. 

Currently I have 2 dogs and a horse (Piper, 9yo Pomeranian x Chinese Crested, Baki, 5yo Husky x German Shepherd x Heading Dog, Lady, Kaimanawa), and previously 4 rescue/purebred cats since the age of 11. I also have a Certificate in Animal Care (Companion Animals) from Otago Polytechnic. I have experience at catteries and doggy daycares, as well as over 2 years as a nutrition advisor for cats and dogs from 2018-2020 for raw feeding so am able to tailor to this niche need if required. 

Recently I have fostered neglected dogs during lockdown 2019-2021 and keep in regular contact with my rehomed dogs. 

My services include:

🐾House visit 1-2x daily🐾

🐱 Cat feeding - I will visit your house to feed your cat(s), check water, administer medication if required.

🐴 Farm animal visits (paddock visit) - I will check in on your horses/goats/mini horses/chickens. I can change covers, fill troughs, feed out hard feed and/or hay, check hooves, groom. I am also able to administer medication if required.

Please note for the wellbeing of dogs I do not do home visits when owner's are away overnight however am happy to do home visits for young puppies/anxious dogs when the owner is at work. Alternatively I do offer doggy daycare/dog boarding.

For any house visits I am happy to bring in any mail, put out/bring in bins, and water plants.

🐕Dog walks🐕

I am able to walk dogs in the West Auckland region, possibly further on enquiry. This can either be a group dog walk with my current dog packs (small dogs/big dogs/mixed pack) or individual walks near your home. I can assist in continuing owner's training. My walks are always on lead until the dog and I get comfortable with each other and will assess then whether off lead is safe for both the dog and myself. Pictures of your fur baby during the walk is of course part of the package! My advertised rate is for a half hour, it is $30 for an hour walk, both including travel

Dogs must be okay with both big and small dogs, toilet trained, be fully vaccinated, desexed, and up to date with flea and worm. 

I am based in West Auckland but happy to travel to the wider Auckland region.
