Hi, I'm Meg! I am 19 years old and am currently in my second year of university in Wellington, where I am studying communication design. While on uni breaks, I am back here in my hometown of Christchurch, and I would love to look after your pets!
I have two cats of my own, Jessie and Lottie, who I’ve had since they were kittens. I have had cats as pets my entire life, so I have plenty of experience looking after and spending time with them. I have also had experience volunteering with the Christchurch SPCA in the feline department during the Summer of 2021/22. I absolutely adore animals, and have experience looking after both cats and dogs. The services I offer are house-sitting, home visits during the day, and dog walking. Being a quiet and introverted person, I am an ideal candidate to house-sit for you and will genuinely enjoy spending time with your pets. I am reliable, trustworthy and take pride in looking after your pets and home.
Dog walks will typically last 30-90 minutes, depending on your preference. I can either take your dog(s) for a walk around your neighbourhood or I am also happy to drive your dog to another area such as Hagley Park for a bigger run around.
House-sitting will involve me staying the night (or however many nights required) at your home with your pets. When house-sitting, I will happily water plants and such and leave your home tidy and clean for when you arrive home. I will usually be at your home from the evening until the morning, and can then visit them once or twice during the daytime if required.
Home visits are usually a half an hour, but I am happy to stay longer or shorter to suit your pet's needs. In this time I will play with them, pet them, let them outside for a toilet break and feed them if required at the time of the visit.

Meg was a great cat sitter for me. My cat was calm and relaxed when I returned from being away which indicated she spent some quality time with him. She was conscientious in providing updates on how he was doing through the duration. I recommend her...she has a kind and positive demeanor, and is a trustworthy person.
